Supposed Active Botters List

Hey guys, don't know if you have read it but was browsing google like I do alot when I'm bored and came across a supposed PMod leak that someone ripped and copied/pasted from the PMod section. It's pretty much the place where PMod's place suspected botters for other PMods to look over and confirm, and it looks pretty legit. If it isn't legit, someone put ALOT of time into making it look like an everyday log from various PMod's to place suspicions. I'm not sure if its allowed on here or not, just recently started to delve into these sections of sythe so even If I can't confirm it, may I post it here for others to read? I would advise to just use ctrl+f and search for all of your accounts display names to see if your screwed or not. Luckily I had none on there, but others in the forum I found it in said that they had an account or two on there so worth a shot and just lemme know guys.

If I can, I will throw up the txt on here and good luck to you all, hope your not on there.

Adammoroz is suspected to be a macro whom trained Woodcutting perhaps a couple months ago and just wrapped it up about a week ago. He's suspected of also doing the same to Firemaking right now, along with other stats.

Lumbridge Courtyard

I think they are pure bots, it stands in the same spot at Lumbridge Courtyard and keeps saying, Join Rebornfire1. As soon as B0ts_R_C00l logged out, the Merchant_Jaq bot was in the same place as the B0ts_R_C00l bot, and said the same thing over and over again. Both bots are level 3 combat.

Hi folks, there have been a number of requests for feedback regarding the accuracy of individual posts. Although I cannot give individual feedback, I have been collecting data regarding the accuracy of tip-offs from different areas and can instead give an overall feedback for bot reporting for specific locations. I will hopefully be ready to give this feedback in a meeting with the bot busters in the P-mod room sometime soon, date to be arranged.

I'd like this meeting to be during the weekend at a time with accessible hours to people in both the UK and the US time zones. More to come about this soon.

He's been there for at least 5 hours without saying a word, and I think he's botting as well because I lured the NPC's away and he still hasn't logged out. He is using guthans so it auto heals him, so he could be there for days. Hasn't moved, hasn't spoke, he needs to be kicked off the world. =/

While we love help hunting bots I don't think players should be posting lists like that on the regular forums. There are 2 posts hidden on that thread and no explanation why other then the OP's post and it's not right to have them posted. Even if they are botting they still have a right to privacy.

I would suggest having them pm you the names in game instead of posting them in the regular forums.

This isn't really fair to all the player who post wanting help with or complaining about bots. They are told to use the report abuse button in the game.

Stuck just outside the doorway of the Kebab store in Al Kharid (presumably cooking). According to another player he has been standing there for hours (4-5) without response in public chat or any movement.

Am getting there slow but sure. Spent way too much time on my feet cleaning our house and then decorating it for the holidays. I couldn't have done it without help from my daughter and husband. It took forever because I needed a LOT of breaks. My foot and lower leg were constantly swollen and my bad back was complaining about all the bending and lifting I was doing while cleaning. My parents came to stay for Christmas weekend and now my in-laws this weekend. After they leave on Sunday I'll be able to finally relax and put in some serious time with Runescape again.

I'm hoping to be able to make it to the bot busting on Sunday too!!! ^_^ (I have to read a previous post by Plummie to check the time for EST cus I forgot. hehehe)

Warlock- that's an interesting post on page 410. Some of that was an eye opener for me. I thought after all these years studying macros and bots, that I knew why they acted that way. But after reading your post I realized there is alot I don't know yet.

Wow. $1000 USD for 99 farming. Took me 4 yrs to get mine. And it took my husband 4 yrs to get his 99 slayer and HE is a "no-lifer"!!!

I agree with you Warlock. It is very disconcerting when we struggle to reach our goal, only to be outwitted and made to look like fools by these "bots" and "macroers". And its very disheartening and makes us feel like giving up. I think that's the reason I've hung in there for so long. I take great pride in knowing that I achieved my goals by working honestly on them. I never once considered cheating. In real life I strive to be as honest a person as possible, sometimes to my own detriment (like when I have to admit to doing something I'm not proud of). Maybe its because I'm 40 something... maybe its because with age I've learned that cheating and lying your way thru life and other things feels empty compared with the fullfilled feeling of doing something yourself, the hard way.

I still try to catch those losers in the act, to show them and others that it doesn't pay to cheat or break rules. In real life if you break a rule or law you have to face the consequences, but even though some people know that, they still try to get around it, hoping no one will notice.

Hang in there Warlock. We ARE fighting the good fight believe it or not. Yes they return. Yes, they do sometimes get away with it. Its no different than hunting drug dealers. You win some, you lose some. But the effort pays off in the long run.

We do it to make RS better for ourselves and the other players. We do it to combat crime and scammers who just want to give us pixels for our hard earned money. And we do it to protect people who are too naive about these things.

Hi Plum, the player said that he was joined by Mod Mat K a few days ago, and was told to keep a list and pass the names onto him. The posts were immediately hidden so there was no invision of privacy.

As he'd gone to so much trouble of getting the names I couldn't see a problem with it as a one off, personally. It's no different to us taking offensive usernames off people on the forums.

A few talked or answered when I talked to them, but these also traded a low level buyer, so looked suspicious. Since I covered all worlds (except pvp/bounty), I did take a break halfway, and after that encountered a few in other worlds than they were before: xishiren was with magpie84 in world 111 at first, but after my break xishiren and god_y_pk3r were trading and collecting in world 66. god_y_pk3r was with shans2004 in world 97 before break, mind you. Ah, sounds just like As the World Turns at times, doesn't it

I hope you'll make it to the bust tomorrow, thelioness, but only if your health allows it, of course! It'll be fun locking up swamp tar bots

Hi Spynripper,

They haven't posted telling us not to post RSC bots here so keep posting until they do. You might try a querry on this.

Keep in mind it takes time to invesigate a bot/macro and get them out of the game.

They watch them to see who they trade with ect and have said in the past 1 name might lead to 75 more.

We jsut have to be patient and let ICU do what they have to do to gather the evidence needed to take em out.

Everyone here knows exactly how you feel, we've all been there.

There is an Online database of Pmods on one of the well-known bot program sites. There has been for years. I don't know how up-to-date the list is anymore though, I just remember having seen it a few years back when I was Googling for a PMod list.

Thank you Plznate and Determinate, but info was old, however watch out for my next thread, was rummaging through some more stuff and leaks and found something pretty interesting, lol. It's also kinda old but a much better read than a list of names so Im gonna post it for the lolz, and also because it finally reveals who came up with the whole roll-back idea, LOL! It's actually a PMod forum from April 2010 that someone secretly accessed through login exploitation and they cached all they could before they got out, so alot of actual PMod stuff that you can read through, enjoy.
