No they should have a chance to post a dispute, and IP bans don't really do anything, you can proxy/ call service provider to change it.

I disagree. To many reasons why not to IP all perm. bans. Such as that not every perm. ban is for scamming.

I disagree, although, I do like where the thought is, I mean if the person was banned to SCAMMING then yes I believe it should be an automatic IP Ban. But if it's just because of say spamming or whatever then I certainly don't think the punishment should be an IP Ban.

    Your post says otherwise.

    Anyways, new point:
In the title of the thread it says "any ban". Are you reffering to any kind of ban perm. or not? If so, then no.

Yep, let the innocent people that aren't as tech savvy have no chance for a dispute, and let the scammers that would know how to evade an IP ban be able to dispute it/evade for more rule breaking.

After the said person is permanently banned and has his appeal denied, then his I.P. address should be blocked, regardless if he has a dynamic I.P.

All an IP ban requires you to do is remove cookies from your computer and block them from this website and bam that user is right back on here.

also many others ways stated above, but I think either a proxy or my way is the easiest.

So however this is a good idea for scammers not spammers, I dont think it would get anywhere.

They should have a chance to dispute their ban.

I guess it would be good but only apply to serious offenses.

Interesting Phishing site, it takes you to the real RS login?

I don't think so. Isn't an IP ban where your IP is banned, rather than a cookie saying that you cannot access the site?

An IP ban means YOUR SPECIFIC internet protocol address is banned, whether it's specific to your router or to your computer depends on whether or not you're through a DMZ. And if you don't have a router then you're either static or dynamic. At the moment most poeple by default have dynamic IP's (I know a lot of ISPs stateside still give static IP's but here in Canada the two ISP's im with have both given me dynamic IP's.) In general a person now has to CHANGE their ip to static, therefor IP banning is rather useless. I mean it still helps for public computers and a lot of scammers but not the one's who are good at it and computer literate.

As for mr you can delete your cookies to get rid of an IP ban, why don't you google an IP ban first. IP bans aren't stored in your cookies, they're stored on sythe's dedicated server itself. So no matter what you do if you're not proxying you're forced to change your ip. and since Sythe blocks most of the proxy's already changing your IP is the only way around it and then you're back to being a leecher.

I don't support at all. Waste of time and won't accomplish much.
