    Based on what I see here, you are using a deep depth of field in your effects. Consider shortening your depth of field by blurring the wall she's against, even though she's against it. Make this a hint of blue, not a huge amount. This will simulate distance between the render and the surface to allow for effects to 'rest' in the given space.
