What makes people go to war?

Well i was discussing this with my dad and it got me thinking.

"WHAT MAKES PEOPLE GO TO WAR" your proberally all going to flame my ass saying because there angry they want power so on.

But i think their is more depth into it than that.

i think there is a huge logic behind it.


I believe that its the ability to feel in control and able to boss people around.

Also i believe that they also go to war because of Nobility and patriotism combined with equal parts of stupidity.

Are you talking about a single person going to war or a whole army going to war? If your talking about a single person I would agree with you in saying that it can be a mix of seeking nobility and patriotism, however I don't think you can define it in a single set of reasons. Some people enlist because it's a fairly well paying job to them, some people do it for the experience the military will give them later in life; both positive and negative.

 

Hmm i did mean together but im not on the fact of going as a single person

i have now thought about it and come to the conclusion that they do it purely to protect their country and show they are loyal citizens, but also a mixed of showing off and stupidity.

 

Er, people go to war to defend their country or because they simply have to. People have their own personal reasons too.

Its not just about that people also go to war because their low on money and have to survive so they use a dangerous but fast way of making a lot of cash.

 

Someone doesn't like something and it becomes a problem and so on..
