I need muscle help

    I need muscle help

    Well... I'm 117 pounds... I've really gotten fat. I use to be really skinnYy, but now I just started to gain. I'm making a new diet choice.. I eat low calories, I usually skip out on Lunch.
    So it's Breakfast, maybe a snack as in 3-5 health bars for lunch than dinner.

    I need some excersies...
    Frankly... I can't do Pull ups... I just can't... I can somewhat do pushups....
    But I'm also starting to build fat in the upper chest which is basically man boobs...
    I really want to loose my belly fat and my man boobs -.-
    I'm really embarresed about this...

    How tall are you? 117lbs is really small unless you're female or short.

    I could help you lose the fat, but then you'd just be scary skinny...

    What I'd do is start to eat more cleanly, (say a cup of oatmeal for breakfast, a turkey sandwich for lunch, and some kind of meat or something for dinner) and start to lift weights. Does your school have a gym/do you have access to one? I can recommend some exercises.

    How tall are you, and how old? 117 pound is extremely light for a normal sized person.

    Sit ups are easy and good for the abs. Maybe join a rec sport that you find fun to play.

    Thanks guys... Note I'm only 13 years of age... Which is pretty fat...
    I'm not too tall in 5 foot ranges... I know for a fact that I'm IN THE 5ft area zone.. I really want to loose my "boobies" and start to build abs.

    I weighed 110 until I turned 18 and went to college. Now I weigh 135. I gained 25 LBS because I eat poorly and don't exercise very often.(Other than running with some of the track team members once in a while.) You may be gaining weight because you are growing. How old are you?

    You posted right before me. Since you are only 13 you are probably growing so I wouldn't be too concerned with your weight. Just eat a little healthier and you'll be fine. Also, not eating is not good for you, don't skip meals.

    We can't really discern how much you should weigh if you don't give us a height. I know the target weight for a 5'2 man (I'm assuming your height) is around 120 (according to a scale I found online) so it doesn't sound like you're terribly overweight.

    Stick to eating only your 3 meals. Don't add in snacks because you're bored and just want something to om nom nom on. If you're eating huge meals, you should cut that out too. Eat enough to where you're satisfied but don't eat more just for the hell of eating.

    Also, I'd say don't set a target weight. How much you weigh doesn't necessarily correspond to how good you look. If you're trying to get abs as you said, you're going to gain weight most likely (muscle weighs much more than fat)

    If anything you are way to skinny.

    Like I said, 117 is way to light. You need to eat more to grow and get stronger, don't try eating less at your age, just eat healthy and cut down on junk foods. You must be very short to have "man boobs" at 117 pounds, I'd suggest fixing your diet and doing beginner exercises.

    Most school have a gym and you can stay after school and work-out.
    Obviously get into some sports (track and swiming probly gonna help you the most)
    Just get out there,go do something that's maybe not organized but good excercise like skating,riding bikes,playing some backyard games with your friends.
    Also,as stated before,its not about not eating,its about eating right.
    Some ab excercises you could do: sit-ups,crunches,v-sit crunches,v-sit twists,6 inches,bicycles. (all these pulled from my guide to an ab routine [if i ever end up posting it]) Some excercises to get rid of your "man-boobs" could be; lateral pull downs ( on a machine) butterflys (with machine) reverse fly (machine) cable cross's(machine).

    yes as skele master stated. you need to eat to build muscle because muscle is fat if you think about it, hit the nearest gym start doing some benching, squats, military press, pull ups, and push ups, eat healthy while your exercising your still young, you have plenty of time, think about ur life not how much u weigh lol, i dont know how many people stress over there weight when they are not even that big.. you will grow your young, just enjoy ur life man :]

    Most of all teh best thing to do to get rid of ur man boobs is bench and upper body work outs. if you bench not only will your arms get stronger you will gain peks :]

    You're still growing, don't be worried at all. But nonetheless, try running a mile in the morning, and walking one in the afternoon. Don't do extreme workouts.

    Don't skip lunch. It's unhealthy, which could give your body some bad side effects.

    I'd recommend joining a cross country team, or simply jogging during the day/in the morning.

    Keep with the situps, doing more and more each day. As for your [hideous] man boobs, the only way I see of going about an effective way of getting rid of those is to do pushups, or get a pull up bar.

    Apparently, a pull up bar would kill you. Unless you want to work three times as hard, just TRY more pushups.

    Your 13, you haven't even started growing yet. Give your body time to grow and your muscle will develope throughtout puberty. Don't skip meals just eat smaller amounts and do several hours of phyisical activity everyday. Your just a kid so don't try and get "buff". Best of luck ;)

    It has nothing to do with me and puberty as I've already hit it. :)
    I have already hit the stage of my growth. It's my weight.
    Thank you all for your comments. I'm going to be trying them out :)

    As your body grows it will even out the weight. It does actually have to do with puberty aswell btw ;)

    No I don't.
    I live with my dad who was a former soldier.. But retired as a Captain because of a serious Knee Injury... My mom walks around the park, but too be honest.... I seriously can't wake up earlier has her.... I just cant. Somethings cannot be done. I sometimes will go to the park and play football/basketball... But that doesn't really effect my abs.

    Talk to her and see if you guys can work something out to where you can walk with her in the evenings at the park.
    Also, you could ask your dad for some exercises he would do while in training.
