What type of RANGE tank should I make?

I'm a bit confused, I currently have a fresh acc with 40 ranged, and I'm thinking what to do with it. I can do the following:

1) 70 Ranged - 42 Defense (for void rushing)
2) 70 Ranged - 40 Defense (for black d hide body)
3) 70 Ranged - 70 Defense (barrows)

If I choose option 2 or 3, who will I be fighting, and will it be alot of fun?

Any info is appreciated.

 

You only need 40 Defence for Black D'hide Body and the others.

I suggest you start slow and go Void Rushing at first, as the offensive bonus gained is largely useful in PvP or training situations. Make sure you quest the Defence, for maximum in-game benefits. Always keep a huge margin between Ranged and Defence (i.e, if you happen to get 70 Defence, make sure you're 90 Ranged first).
