    INTRODUCTION

Compiz one of my favourite applications that Linux has. It makes you some cool effects to your Desktop, like Cube (look image), and other great stuff!

    DOWNLOADING PACKAGES

For these great effects, loads of packages will be needed. But first of all, lets open our Terminal.

    Now lets type:

    Code:
    su

    Continued by our root password.

Then type (copy/paste, its very long!):

    Code:
    yum install emerald-themes compiz-fusion-extras emerald compiz-fusion compiz-manager compiz-fusion-extras-gnome gnome-compiz-manager libcompizconfig compiz-fusion-gnome ccsm

They're small packages, it won't take much.

Now, lets go to System > Preferences > Desktop Effects. Click on Enable Desktop effects, and tick the other boxes, and close. After that click on Keep Settings.

Now Compiz Fusion should be working!

Now go to System > Preferences > CompizConfig Settings Manager. This should pop up.

We've reached to the final part! Now it's up to you, choose your settings, and there you go! Look how cool can it get ;)
