Best controlled wep under 60 atk

Simply, whats the best weapon to use for controlled that is under 60 atk? (;

 

Your best bet would probably be either a Brine Sabre or Rune Scim

Rune Longsword has overall better stats than the rune spear, and they're the same speed.

I don't see much point of keeping this thread up if people cannot suggest a better alternative than what was already posted.

A brine saber has 7 Stab Bonus. Big no. Same goes with the Rune Scimitar.

 

The above suggestions we stated above such as a Brine Sabre and Rune Scim are a much better alternative than a rune longsword. You're basically telling him if your 60 attack, its better to train with a dlong rather than a dscim.

Wouldn't you want to train more consistently with a weapon that faster, than the other.

 

Yeah a Rune Longsword may hit harder, but it is a lot slower, one reason you see people not jamming them in pking and training

Have you seen the stab bonus of a rune scimitar? Here, I'll lay it in front of you.

A rune Longsword's controlled attack is stab. Its strength bonus is 49 with a stab bonus of 38. Its speed is 5, 1 less than a rune scimitar.

A rune scimitar's controlled attack is stab. Its strength bonus is 44, its stab bonus is 7, yes seven. Its speed is 6.

Now which would you pick? 38 stab bonus or 7?

A scimitar is only better in the event if the user wanted to train and focus on 1 skill. Not 3. Do your research before humiliating yourself.

Read the title and the thread, he's looking for a controlled weapon. Not a weapon that is good for training 1 single combat skill. Get your post count up elsewhere.
