    It looked pretty legit, and of course I didn't click it but still. Kinda smart
    And that email address Erickgu(whatever) isn't even mine.

    I thought this email scam was pretty smart as well, nearly fell for it after selling gold to someone through paypal. Only reason I didn't was because it didn't have the "verified" checkmark beside the email in my inbox.

    And I bet the "get more details page" leads to some malicious site, potentially tricking people into thinking they got their payment AND giving them a virus. Watch out for this.

    Last I knew, when you receive a payment from someone it shows their email address as the sender of the email.
    If I sent you 100$, it would show an email like that but it'll be from "From: [email protected]" not paypal.
