Make the most of my internship?

So I intern in the Operations department for an airport, and I have recently just finished my main assignment (halfway through the entire internship), and now I have to figure out exactly what I want to do with the rest of my time. Because I'm unpaid, it feels like it extremely limits my options even though it's a large airport, I have plenty I could do. Any ideas on what I could possibly do to fill my time?

 

From my own experience its hard to get another good task. When I was done with my main task in my internship I asked my supervisor if there was anything else I could do and, as I didnt have enough time for any big assignments left, I got multiple small and rather boring assignments.

What I would advise you is to not ask for something to do but to request to do something. For example if you like to do activity X, go to your supervisor and say "I have finished my main internship assignment, do you mind if I work on activity X". This works much better than asking for something to do.
