Anyone Sythers Who Have Chronic Illness?

Not sure if something like this has been posted on here before, but I'm curious to who on here might struggle with a chronic illness? Even if you don't, feel free to comment below if you have a family member or a friend who struggles with one and know how hard it is for them.

If you do struggle with a chronic illness on a day to day basis and you're feeling up to sharing it I'd love to hear some of your story. Whether your illness is the same or different I feel all chronic illness sufferers are all together as one since we're fighting a constant battle every day for normality. Don't hesitate to PM me it if you don't feel like sharing it publicly on here.

    My story:

I've recently been diagnosed with Vestibular Migraines, which is a variation to your typical migraines but worse and is accompanied by dizziness, vertigo, visual problems, fatigue problems, and psychological. Of course being as it's migraine associated, it's completely incurable since it's neurological and is chronic. Medication helps manage it to a degree, but unfortunately it'll never go away for me.

I still manage to work 3 days a week. Before getting this, I used to work almost 50 hour weeks, but now I'm lucky to even do 20, but I still pull through and try my best. I've been working as a bartender/club manager for 4 years now, but since I'm only 5 months since getting my chronic illness, I'm thinking about a different career pathway since I'm chronically ill now. Maybe something in web development or graphic design since I can work from home.

I do have pretty severe depression and anxiety which comes in a neat package when getting my type of illness. You know when you're severely drunk and try laying down and going to sleep only to feel the world around you spin? Yeah. I feel that every single second of my days, every day. So yeah, it tends to draw out some serious anxiety from inside me. The depression merely comes from the fact of knowing my life isn't the same anymore. Constant sense of feeling lonely because I struggle with an invisible illness that my family, girlfriend can't see or understand. The constant battle between trying to not lose the people around me because of this illness, it makes me heavily depressed at times. But I pull through, somehow.

I'm going to start heavily getting into using Sythe more now since I'm chronically ill and I want to try make something of myself on here so I can buy/sell easily and maybe make a little bit of extra coin for myself.

Anyways, thought I'd write this up, so people can get a little understanding of me and maybe if theres some sufferers on here we could have a chat from time to time.

I have a few friends who have EDS and also struggle with mental health. It's both frustrating and inspiring seeing what they cope with on the daily, beyond what I could ever imagine living with.

Its good to have hobbies and keep yourself busy when you can, I hope you find something here to do that.
