Explanation of the trade:
Mike was developing a website for Mimi for $2,000 USD - Mike went 8 months over timeframe and Mimi does not want to pay the remaining $1000 once it's done and wants to keep the work Mike's did.
How they scammed:
Did not pay the $1000 to Mike to finish the website which is 95% done - Reported Mike for scamming him when he's the one trying to keep the work, Mike is willing to refund the $1000 so Mimi can go elsewhere if he chooses and hire a new developer, Mimi is still trying to keep the site and is using a statement from Mike after he harassed him for days on end in his broken English telling him he could keep the site than he blocked him. Mike meant it as;

thats not giving ownership, thats saying if he's going to use it he's not getting a refund

Mimi is essentially refusing to now take a refund, He is refusing to give Mike the work back that he's done for a refund, He is trying to keep all of Mike's work based on a statement that was not meant to change ownership, and he is trying to scam Mike the website and or out of his owed $1000 once the last few site changes/additions are done. The website is within 2 days of full completition Mike has said(95% done).

Mike should not be banned, if anything Mimi should be the one banned.

I dare say the developers on staff would understand that projects run behind, Mike had a fellow developer quit on him and he got stuck with all of the projects which buried him in work. Mimi does not get to keep Mike's work because Mike said a 1 sentence statement after constant harassment and Mimi hired a new developer for an hour. Mike clearly meant it as a statement to inform him about what happens if he uses it, not a ownership change.

Mike is fully accepting of issuing Mimi a full $1000 refund and taking his work back, Mimi is now trying to gouge Mike even when a full refund is offered showing he never really wanted a refund, he just wants to screw Mike and get cheap quality work because he went over timeframe. Mike understands he was in the wrong running 8 months behind but if Mimi intends to use his work he owes him for it. That or Mimi takes a refund and mike gets the site back.

 

Additonal information;

Discord trades require PM's, I challenge Mimi to produce a valid PM regarding this deal further invalidating the trade and meaning Mike should get his work back and Mimi his $1000 back.

A warning about discord trades

I'd like someone(Mimi) to prove that's Mike's discord and show on Sythe where he lists it.

I'd also like to point out that there is no proof Mike even said these things :shrug: or it was even him.

OK for starters, if Mike is claiming the site is 95% done, he would need to provide some sort of evidence for us to hold Mimi liable for the remainder of assumed debt, before we ask him to pay Mike out. Saying something is x% done is not always so. What was the agreed time to finish this website? 8 months seems like a long time for any site, so I would assume this would mean Mimi got impatient or the time-frame was not met within reasonable standards. Thus it makes sense why he would want to go elsewhere. Asking Mimi to pay Mike for an extended project which was never finished would not make sense to me.

Saying "do whatever you want with it" includes bringing it elsewhere to have more added onto it if Mimi is not satisfied with the current state of the website. If there is a dispute between the two, or Mike is wishing to be unbanned w/o refunding, he can post a dispute with info regarding agreements, dues, and progress of work on the site.

Not sure how you are involved.

This is the remaining work that was left on the site:

"- Blog/post pages
- Finish mobile optimization
- Update mobile menu to way he wants it
- Option to edit the "cheap pricing on all runescape products"
- Text open live chat on click in footer
- Paypal and G2A Pay APIs
- Amount of USD to amt not calculating properly
- Sitemap
- Payment options more narrow
- Add Terms of Service page
- Password recovery for employees
- Sizing in different browsers of unit"

The paypal API was under development the day this occurred, the above work is extremely simple compared to the rest of it, I couldn't code shit all and even I can plug API's in and create sitemaps and new pages and a standard blog lol.

Everything done not on that list is completed by Mike( I don't know if u want a completed list(?)) and mike has said the above is 2 days work.

The agreed time was 30 days but Mike didn't even get it for 45 days due to the design not being finished.
