    ebay virtual item proof of postage
    so i sold a virtual item over ebay with "dust" last week and i handed the virtual item over and he even left me positive feedback

    now he is claiming to ebay he hasnt received the item. so can i just post the dust to him with recorded delivery to prove delivery, would i win the claim?

    any help appreciated

    not sure, maybe you should of done something like selling paper-clip with free "virtual item" gift. What exactly did he write in his dispute? I'm pretty sure he shouldn't be given any protection if he didn't say it was unauthorized.

    This was done through eBay, and eBay has a strict policy against selling MMORPG gold. It's going to be difficult to win the dispute. You should have actually sent something via post right when the sale was completed. If you were to send it after the dispute, I'm not sure it would be seen as relevant.
