How to make a crossbow out of a pen.​

Items Needed
-----------------​

Any pen
A rubber band
Tape
A drill. (Also scissors may work)​

Putting together the crossbow.
-------------------------------------​

Step 1: Take the pen apart.​

​

Step 2: Drill a hole in the middle of the pen.​

​

Step 3: Make small notches in the pen. (Slit = Notch)​

​

Step 4: Insert the Pen Tip Holder in the hole in the middle of the pen.​

​

Step 5: Get your rubber band and cut it in one spot.​

​

Step 6: Insert each rubber band end into each notch you put earlier into the pen.
Step 7: Tape the rubber band in the notches.​

​

Step 8: This should be your final piece.​

​

I do think it would be a fun little thing to do on my free time, and I'm not going to say its "pointless" but not a lot of members would really need to know this.

So basically you're immplying that the physical section of the UE forum should be taken off, and all the very detailed guides that barley anyone understands should be taken off. Members don't need to know that stuff, but they still have sections for them.

Try to keep your guides away from the whole
"How To: Be a Better Person"
"How To: Survive School"
etc.
And make guides like these.
Things people can learn off of.
Although not many people will actually use a drill on a pen,
this guide looked like it was your most thought out, and thorough guide.
7/10.

 

The guide is decent. Pictures are good but not much explanation. It's an interesting concept but I think you need to still write guides everyone can relate to.
