people like Runescape is because of its community. Believe it or not, everything is based on Runescape's

community. In the game of Runescape, there is always an item to get, a monster to slay, a quest to do; all to be better than everyone else. Why

does everyone adore the kid who walks around with a party hat, or the player with 99 everything?


So, in summary, the way to succeed in Runescape would be to merchant, have perseverence, and play in the most social environments possible. These three principles will get you money, levels, and fame in the game of Runescape.

I wouldn't consider this a guide but more of a encouragement speech .

 

This is terrible. Patience means you need to wait to succeed. You don't gain levels or money by waiting... you gain it by working HARD, which isn't patience.

 

That is merely a statement, yes, i agree it's true, but it doesn't literally tell you how to get ultimate success in Runescape.

 

This is more a statement of what RuneScape is, To be honest I think most of us already knew the key to sucess is patience, Thanks anyways..

But its not a guide, and its not all that ultimate either.

I guess it could help a few people if they are totally clue less about the game, and therefore its worth 1/10.

It's a decent guide I guess. However, "success" in an MMO will have different meanings for each individual that plays.

Actually hardworking and patience must be together. If you're hardworking but you don't have the patience to achieve something because you feel bored is also no use. Get what I mean? Patience is still a "tool" needed.

after i made an account, got 15 wood cut and started cutting oaks, i thought i was Hot Shit. for me, that was success. and i know even if i max out total level i will still be doing more, the key to runescape is knowing you dont need to succeed.

 

I would agree to the people who mentioned that this is not a game. In my opinion, for one to be guide, it must be game related stuff and not the player who plays the game. Guides are skills quest mini games etc.

And it is not perseverance. For you to be successful, you the basic thing should be you must enjoy what you are doing. That means you must love the game and enjoy playing it.
