If you're talking to me, no I do not have the concepts wrong. Each trial is independent, you multiply successive independent trials to get the probability. If you want to calculate the chance that you lose, it's (1/2)^7 because losing on the first trial is one half, second trial is one half, all the way to the 7th trial. You multiply these all together and it is almost 0, Less than 1 percent.

 

The expected value of this method is O.

This is basically the martingale method which will not work unless you have an infinite amount of bank ( as stated by many other posters here ).

You risk 640M to win 10M.

Every 64 times you try this, there will be one event in which you lose 8 stakes in a row, losing your whole bank.

So basically the expected value of this is 0

The only foolproof method is walking away with your gains
but all true stakers know....that is IMPOSSIBLE
only way out is getting cleaned

 

I did it from 300m to 1b. I pooped sometimes. But it went well then i stopped and enjoyed the money

 

usaully doesnt work, i've lost 9 in a row before with maxed stats boxing.

 

won't work out in staking - as it hasn't for hundreds of years in gambling/casino's. Or even with the flip of a coin.

The wiki link posted is actually a good read and explains of you do 73 50/50 chance stakes/bets there is a 50.3% chance you will have lost 6 times in a row at some point. Not sure if i got those numbers right.
