Earthquake!

Just hit 40 minutes ago in Chino Hills, Los Angeles with 5.8 Magnitude. Definitely one of the biggest quakes I've been through in Los Angeles. I'm in the Torrance area by the way.

holy shit Is it really shooken up that bad? good Thing I live in Florida cause California is The worst place to live. Is anyone hurt, Buildings destroyed

 

Nope, it was just a real good shaker. There was a pretty good aftershock also. Pictures fell off the wall, my garbage can tipped over, nothing much though.

 

I wish we get earthquakes in Michigan :[

I live in Redondo Beach. I felt that. I got scared.

 

Earthquakes are pretty typical in LA, this one was larger than normal though. My cellphone/home phone are down also since everyone in hell is making phone calls.

 

I remember when we had an earthquake in Illinois.

Yes my phone is also down, you're pretty close to Torrance so I'm sure everyone in the area is experiencing the same troubles. My internet is also really slow right now.

 

My internet is doing fine, I could text though, I texted my friend who lives in Inglewood, and they felt it. It's was quite strong.

 

I felt it from Palmdale, California.
My whole house shook and the chair I was sitting in.

 

Ya i just felt that shit around 5 minutes ago I'm from cali too it was 5.0 or something right?

EDIT: XIX, eh, the earthquake was quite a while ago, maybe longer then 5 mins. Just letting you know.

 

Never been through and earthquake but in Florida they do dynamite underground a lot, and it is a bit shaky, but like the equivalent to a 1 on the richter.

 

Down Here in Miami I don't think it be common?

 

It was at about 11:42 AM PST and lasted 45 seconds. I was under the table pretty quickly.

 

It's not really possible for earthquakes to happen in Miami..

lol i was in summer school in agoura when it happened...i thought my friend was shaking my desk and i was like WTF dude stop!

than i realised the tv almost fell off of the stand...
