Dunworry2 Middle Man

Explanation:
I was selling a username unlisted on Sythe, it was no where to be posted, doing an outside trade that had nothing to do with Sythe other than using dunworry2's middle man service. We and another guy named 'Josh' agreed on this middle man. Little did I know dunworry2 is in on a scam with Josh to help get a name back that he lost. A few weeks ago the user "ye" had changed their name twice and I managed to MANUALLY pick up the name "army" as it was freed up. I understand this is considered 'sniping' but since I had no idea of it being traded/sold/transferred or anything how could I possibly know. I had no connection with the user "ye" before or after he freed up "army." I never posted the name "Army" on sythe for sale because it is against the rules. Little did I know I even sniped the name, from my point of view I see the name change in game and have high hopes on possibly picking it up if the user is openly freeing the name. I had no contact with the user AFTER he changed his name so I had no clue what was going on with the name.

Dunworry2 and Josh set up a trade to pretty much take the name 'Army' back that 'ye' lost a few weeks ago. However, I never got Josh's sythe profile, I'm unaware if he even has one. Before the trade the name 'Army' was mentioned between Josh, Dunworry2, and I. So the WHOLE trade dunworry2 and Josh had a plan to scam the name back after agreeing multiple times to the terms and conditions which I'll provide an imgr link of below. It was set up as a 'trade' not a 'refund' or a 'return my name' thing. Both users, josh and dunworry2 have agreed to rightfully do this trade if I transferred the name for Josh onto another account, little did I know they were in on the scam together. The trade was suppose to be for 45M 07 and was suppose to be given to me after I transferred the name as agreed on by all three of us. (Keep in mind, the middleman, dunworry2 knew all along what was going down and knew he wasn't going to pay out the trade.)

All in all it was a fair trade, I never 'stole' from him intentionally, everyone makes mistakes, for all I knew at this time was he no longer liked Army because he got 'ye' and was releasing it for someone else to take. No where at all did I see anything about it being sniped or not to buy. There was never any evidence.

There were no personal messages between dunworry2 and 'josh' on sythe. Only through skype.

Misc Explanation (long story short):
Dunworry2 and this "Josh" guy set up a scam to scam me for a name that I had no idea was being moved/sold or what. I rightfully picked the name up with no contact between either of the users at the time. I had no idea it was sniped until today. I also didn't post it on Sythe and left it outside of Sythe just incase. I never seen any threads or got any contacts in game saying the name was sniped from someone or anything. I feel like this was a big setup and Josh and dunworry2 are good friends and wanted this name.

I will admit to what I did, I did take the name "Army" when "ye" double changed his name twice, but I honestly had no clue what was going on with it. How am I suppose to know? Honestly?

This should have been settled differently. Dunworry2 as the Verified Sythe user and Middle Man should have stated from the very first start of the conversation when the name 'army' was mentioned that this was a sniped name and posted a report on me and let the mods deal with that situation. However, he went along with the whole trade all long with his and Josh's plans to get the name back knowing they weren't going to pay out.

From the start neither of them should have agreed to the terms of the *TRADE*.

There is/was a lot more ways this could have been settled, it didn't have to be settled by having a middle man assist another user getting a name back he lost.

Thanks for reading my report, I'm sorry I even picked up the name Army. If I would have known from the start things would be a whole lot different. But instead these two users wanted to plot a plan on me to scam it back.


PS: Keep in mind when the name was so called 'sniped' I was never near or around any sort of transaction at the time it was being bought/sold. I rightfully and truthfully seen this name change from Ye to Army. I had nothing to do with the previous users transactions nor Dunworry2's transaction in the past regarding this name.

 

Users will be banned permanently for the following:
Scamming: or any suspicious behavior similar to scamming (i.e. attempting to scam), this includes Runescape name Sniping.

I gave dunworry the go ahead to get the name back to its original owner so he won't be punished for that and you will be perm banned for sniping per sythe rules
