Why is it so many pures have high hunter now?

Ok, ive been out of RS a long time, since 07 when pking and transfering was abolished, only just got back into it. But why is it that loads of pures both here in sythe and in rs seem to have high hunter? What's so important about it? Maybe its just me... Thanks for any answers.

As Charmander said, it's because of the easy and fast cash. There are low requirements to achieve easy cash and a high level and basically no cash needed at all as it's a gathering skill.
It's also incredibly easy to bot and a lot of people are using RSBot to achieve very high levels.

 

Ye all my pures that I have now have over 85 hunter, easy cash and the bot I use is great, the cape looks awsome aswell

 

Yeah, ive heard great things about the impetuious impulses game, when you catch dragon or kingly implings... how much would you expect to make an hour? Cause im only making 170k/hr botting monks.

 

With catching imps, its kinda luck and depends on if your looting them or not.

 

The answer to this really has little to do with the fact that you make money off it in my opinion.

It's an extremely bottable skill that you can get 99 in about 5 days. That's why pures have high hunter, for the skillcape. The 30m that comes with it is a bonus. But hey.. that's just my opinion.

Anyway, most pures get 99 hunter as you can make over 30M GP in a short period of time, which is needed for a lot of pures who want to buy dragon claws, or alternatively to start merchanting etc.

 

It's insanely easy to bot, can be done in 2 weeks, and, until recently, had a very low ban rate.

 

Ban rate is raising as JaGeX is starting to recognize the trend.

 

As Grasshopper is mentioning, there is now a trend of pures botting hunter, which is why my pure now has 99 fishing instead of 99 hunt.

I've gone 1-99 in 10 days. Still not banned.

Most people use perf's bot to get 99 to buy claws or whatever gear they need to start their pures.

Most low level pures with skillcapes are botted.

It's good money and easy for them to train their range.

 

To be honest most of them are just doing it because they're copying other people. It's not that great of a money source. And as said almost all of the people who have high hunter botted it.
