How to take a screenshot of stats?

I have windows 7 if that helps at all. Something said to press the "PRTSC" button but i looked in my pics and didnt see it. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite if that helps at all.

Look in your programs for "Snipping Tool" then upload to photobucket and use the link for forums.

 

The button they were talking about is "Print Screen". On my HP laptop, it is above the backspace button, but you need to hold the function [fn] key, while you press print screen. Doing this captures your entire screen. You can then open Microsoft Paint and hit 'Paste', which will paste the captured screen into Paint. Then file>save-as and save your picture.



The "Snipping Tool" is a lot easier though, and I believe it comes pre-installed on Windows.

To start the Snipping Tool:

Click on the Start button to open your Start Menu.
The Start button looks like this:
Click "All Programs"
Click "Accessories"
Click the "Snipping Tool" icon.




Then you can drag a box around the area on your screen that you want to take a picture of.
Save the image, then head to photobucket or imageshack and upload the picture.
You're given a direct-link and often a forum-code to share your picture.


Good luck, it can seem like a lot of steps but once you get the hang of it, it usually takes less than 30 seconds to upload pictures.

 

after you print screen you need to paste to the image to Paint

 

If you have swiftkit you can use it as well to upload a screen shot.

 

If you want a quick and easy screenshotting program, Use http://screensnapr.com/. You press the hotkey (default is ctrl+1) and select what you want, and it gives you a url that has the picture.

Not to mention puush will give you a direct link to the image so you can instantly upload it to sythe. Like so by wrapping the direct links with img tags, or clicking this button and inserting the puush link or any direct link.
