Duel arena update has made it even easier for low-mid stakes/low-mid combat stakers to make profit

I'm honestly amazed at how bad Jagex fixed this. Didn't they say they'd add an option to make both stakers max mains?

This applies to unmaxed stakers (115 combat and below)

Before the update, you'd have your stakers duel whales on which you'd have better (does not mean higher) stats. The whales in return could haggle you for an X.

But now those whales CANNOT EVEN X YOU anymore! They HAVE to do 1:1 stakes.

It's fucking amazing. This update does NOTHING to stop odds staking. And mains can just force boots or defenders or amulets

I personally staked with at least 10% profit on all stakes, even if I did 100M's which are taxed at 2% I'd still make 8% profit.

What a fucking joke.

Considering putting my calc on 20%-off sale.

 

The likelihood of these "whales" giving in to stakers wearing defenders, boots, etc is very low.

 

That's not my problem as I'm (was) a low-mid level odds staker, and what I said applies to unmaxed stakers which you won't need to boots against.

And that being said, it's definitely not an improvement over 97 1.1xing, but it's not that much of a loss either.

ive been sitting for 30 hours on a +7 hp 79 str account and made exactly 0m 0 stakes .... duel arena is dead content atless you stake bot [ive been sitting on 4 accounts over 30 hours and made 50-100m~ last week i would've pulled in 200m+]
