ironmanjake Username Scam

Explanation of the trade: I was trading them 80M 07 GP for the username "Absol" with Yirru as the MM.
Amount scammed: 80M 07 GP.

How they scammed: So I posted in the "Name Request Thread" earlier today. I was searching for a couple different names. They messaged me saying they had Absol. I was very, very interested and asked for proof of them having it. They sent a screenshot of their chatbox, and only a chatbox, saying they were talking to me with the username Absol in it. I took it as that being enough for me so we took it to Discord.

From there, they added me to a chat with someone posing to be Yirru. For extra caution, I asked for a DM from Yirru on Sythe and a link to their Vouch thread. I got the DM no problem from Yirru, so I thought all was good. It came from Yirru himself but it was odd. In the message from Yirru here, it said the scammers Discord and UID. So I asked about it and he gave some weird answer about Yirru having multiple discords for easier MM'ing or something? I don't really understand but went with it since I did get the message from Yirru. I originally forgot to check the scammer's Discord to match it with the real Yirru so when I did, it was different. When I called him out about that and demanded my money back, he said not to give him orders and not tell him what to do. I then found out from the REAL Yirru that the guy scamming me was ALSO selling a name to Yirru, 04 I think it was. When I said that to him, he only said, "Oh. gg." then blocked me. ironmanjake then blocked me on Discord and left the group we were in.

I don't know if the fake Yirru is the same guy or not... But there were two accounts in it.

Proof that it's their Discord: I'm not sure if this is enough, but you can see their Discord name is NmZ and they also say they have Absol.

That's really all I have. I realize this could have 100% avoided had I checked the fake Yirru's ID but when I got the PM, I thought it was just some Discord bug. I was an idiot for assuming that stupid shit. The real Yirru is not involved in this at all, he did not scam me. It was just @ironmanjake and whoever else, if anyone, he had involved.

 

DNT'd/banned @ironmanjake for this imposter scam + he's a serial ban evader (evading all of the names on his IP audit).

@Kaizer UwU In one of your screenshots where you talked to the fake Yirru it also showed him impostering Dbuffed/switching his name (profile/name were different in the chat). You need to triple-check everything and be extra careful moving forward.
