Jagex Account Query

Hey guys,
I've got a bit of random one but hopefully someone with more knowledge than me can shed some light.
I'd like to state that im not accusing anyone but I am just wanting to confirm if this is a recovery or a hack?

TLDR; Bought account been transferred from one jagex account to another.

I bought an account maybe a month or two ago off a trusted seller who was not the OO but the OO was a huge name on Sythe.

The jagex account got locked but I was able to get it sorted, but then today as I was playing the account seemed to have been hijacked. I quickly went to the check and it had been removed off my launcher.

I am just wondering what could of happened to the account? I suspect it is NOT the OO as the account is not a maxed character or has much wealth but I am just so confused as when I read anywhere it says that OSRS chars within a jagex account CANNOT be moved.

The only way accounts can be moved from a Jagex account is if they are recovered. Sorry for your loss

 

This is what I expected! I have confirmed this with friends/sellers and others, many thanks! I'll ask if the mods can link this query into my account recovery report!

Yes, your account got recovered. I would make a scam report against the Sythe user that you bought the account from and also the guy who was the OO.
