Read the entire first page (don't read the first post if you CBA).
Looks like Draynor's finally getting a graphical update. The artist is currently working on the Love Story quest and will work on the Void Knights' quest later so it'll probably take a while.
Troll boss?
Summa.

Terry Rex: "like when the wise old man defied rs logic at the time and 'dodged' a mele atack :O"
Excuse me if I go technical for a moment...
RuneScape's non-player characters (NPCs) used to be able to move (during which they'd play their walkanim) or perform animations on the spot. They couldn't do both at once. Players can animate while moving, but NPCs couldn't.
To create the climactic battle of Swan Song, during which the WOM repeatedly spins around the back of a giant troll, I invented a new trick that's been quite heavily used in various developers' cutscenes.
Putting it simply, I transformed the player into the Wise Old Man. Rather like we transform you into a monkey or a penguin or goblin in other quests. Now that the player looked like the Wise Old Man, I could make the player animate while moving, and it'd look like the Wise Old Man doing it.
So, technically, that was YOU performing all the stunts in that cutscene.
More recently, Andrew's team of Game Engine programmers created the ability for NPCs to move while performing an animation, so we don't need to resort to bizarre hacks like that. But, for about 4 years, I was really quite proud of that trick.
... end of digression.
Troll boss?
Mad Boy120:
1. This quest looks amazing and cant wait to play it and by hight 60s will it be over 60 like 60 to 70 same with the 70s one?
2. When you pitched it how did the idear go down?
3. I no u might not be able to tell this how far in develpoment is it and when do u think it be out?

By 'upper 60s', I mean a number between 65 and 69 inclusive. I didn't say exactly what number, and I won't. Go on, level up to 70 anyway. You won't regret it.
Mod Mark was a bit bemused by the original concept. The core of the quest hasn't changed at all, but the ending's going to be a lot more positive than what I'd originally envisaged.
It's being tested, and should appear this summer if nothing bad happens
