Account build

I was just thinking and wondering if this account build would work in pvp. It's kind of like a corrupt tank with summoning.
20 attack for corrupt vestas longsword
-- str (higher the better)
75 defence for dragonfire shield
-- range (higher the better)
-- prayer (free and easy)
-- Mage (free and easy)
66 summoning for barker toad

I was thinking of using a conventional corrupt tank method to start (knives) and then loading your barker toad(cannonball)+using scroll att along with dfs fire and cvls hit. I was wondering if this would work at ~60-70+ cb where the constitution level would be suitable for this combo.

Pures would have a hard time hitting through your defense. But rangers might prove to be a challenge.

@Simple it actually depends what they're using, for example if they were using a karils cross or a magic short, those are 2 good weapons but they dont really hit hard, they're more for using against pures as they are consistent. If you're talking about the rangers who use rune cross, if they use dragon bolts (e) you would probably not be affected as you have a dfs for protection against dragonfire, but i get what you mean.

@Voda thats a not bad vid, good example but so far people mostly use a simple knives to cvls combo, i wanna know if the dfs and summoning would be a useful addition to a normal corrupt tank

 

well, if your becoming a summ corrupt tank, no point having range still. remove it, and add in your summoning instead. now, if you get to 96 summ, you can hoard either iron titan or w/e gives str exp and hits hella hard, then voila you have one low levelled tank that hits hard with corrupt, takes no hits and delivers with summoning. you'd still get quite badly owned by farcasters but hey, everyones gotta die every once and a while.

 

dont get the summon.
it makes your combat higher and you cant even use an attacking familiar in a non multi area.
Meaning you'd have to pk in multi if you wanted to use that barker toad method, and clans would just pile you.

 

Cotonpk3r quite true, but of course the summoning is just an option, unless you're going to multi pk then I guess you won't summon it. But hey, if you don't summon it you wont gain any extra levels. You could however get prayer and pray mage/melee and unless you're against a huge clan I think you'd probably be able to tank like 2-3 of them.

 

Ok you would need to go into multi to use your Barker toad..so thats not the best idea seeing as theres alot of clans around the cb you said.
it has a nice plan but id suggest 94 mage, i dunno what you meant by free and easy
and also im not sure but does cvls keep over dfs?
& prayer wanted?
alot of factors would depend on how this account would work, fighting a pure..you would probably win 60% of the fights, i myself am a pure and 70+ def when im fighting with my ags is basically the same as hitting a 40 def..i enjoy fighting the higher def's with ags

Overpaidpkr you are right to say that there are many factors affecting the outcome of the account, i find that it would be really flexible if such an account was made. However these are all just my thoughts and I think building one up will be quite hard. By free and easy I mean probably as high as possible without gaining combat or until a certain level that would be fairly useful. These are all unrefined ideas so I don't think I'm up to starting one yet, but thanks for your support
