Transfer limits changed = end of gold farmers?

I am wondering with the prospect of trade limits gone, there will not be as much a need for gold farmers/transfer/ge trading as in the past. All I have to do is do a low level bot and make money on it, transfer the gold to my mains. Prices will have to be really low to make up for the easy of getting gold from all your other accounts.

Thoughts?

 

Of course gold farming won't be an end. Gold faring was good because it was cheap and it raised your levels. It will not be ended, it just won't be green dragons anymore. More than likely blue in taverly and other place.

 

It might be the end or the gold might become incredibly cheap, as anyone could easily produce their own gold and transfer it in one second.

 

All of the people who have gold farming services now
are going to bot on other accounts and farm gold on them.
Then sell the gold to customers on Sythe.

 

This, they will just farm a lot of money on those accounts to sell.

 

Would the prices of GP go down by quite a lot, like below $1?

 

To be honest, I really think they are going to Nerf the "free trade" and it will be like only 1 free trade a day or you can free trade but you have to sell the other person a item worth the same value or somthing idk... dont mind my ideas, im just putting them out there.

 

Free trade means "FREE" Trade..

It doesn't take a PHD in econometrics and economics to understand the price of gold will go down.

More competition = Price goes down. When you have 5 different legitimate sellers selling gold its easy to charge what you want. When there is 20 it requires people to drop the price of items.

More Supply = Every top dick and harry will be running Sorc's garden on 20 different accounts making 5 million gps p/h and it will be easy to sell. Not to mention people who already have gold with no transfer method looking to sell

less demand = People who bought gold for pures? well they can now transfer from their mains.

Ultimate result? gold goes down. It could easily fall below 1 dollar. Think about the people selling pvp tricks for .50 p/mil they are just as likely to be willing to sell gold for .50 in the mill.

 

tbh, if gold hits .50 cents like you say ^^^. that would be extremely crazy and in the end i think every1 in this sythe or probably already is will be worth 1b+. therefore more RARES and such which will cause the economy to go down. that's why people are panicking w2? Dont mind what im saying just putting it out there.

I do certainly believe that the accounts that do get reset or banned, they will check their trading history to see where the gold went. They then will eliminate the gold that the banned/reset account gave to the main. This is what I think or else otherwise, people will have millions of even billions of GP on their mains.

I guess we'll see when the time comes.

 

hmm you are half right but there are may be 1 million player, you ask them to check one by one every day? They don't want to wast money.

 

I think they might have a way of monitoring trade for like bulk trading but like the guy above me said that would probably cost them a decent amount.

The economy was stable pre-2007. Sure, there will be some panic for the few months following the update, but after that it'll even itself out.
