Why would we have that when we can trade others in the game itself? Also, the game has the Grand Exchange for a reason. No support!

 

You go try to buy 3000 beer glasses off the grand exchange and tell me how that goes.

Try asking other people near the grand exchange to buy them for you (the max).

Or, create some accounts yourself and transfer money and buy them.

 

I see really no reason for this. If a Sythe member is looking to buy A Runescape item for Runescape GP or another Runescape item they would be able to do it much quicker and more successfully if they did their trading on the actual Runescape forums or in game. Personally I view this site as a black market, most people here are looking to use the black market. I don't really think we need another section to dedicated in game trading on this website. Personally I do not think it would be very successful due to the main focus of the Sythe site being on the blackmarket aspect. There would be no point of having a extra forum here when it would be so much easier for anyone to go in game and get the item. It is really hard to make an argument against it when you really have no argument for it. Personally I'd like to hear some pro reason why it should be implemented, however regardless I think I will still be at my current position. Which is no support. To be concise I think it would be unnecessary and I have only seen it fail on other forums in the past.

People could see this potentially as a way of easy vouches. Since you are trading items that are probably of the same wealth, You don't lose (much) and gain a vouch.

 

Sales of any RS items for real money belong here. This can be in game gold and real life cash for the item, or just real cash for the item.

If your goal is to buy beer glasses trying to find someone selling beer glasses on Sythe is going to be x20 times harder than it would be trying to find beer glasses in game. That example only made your suggestion even weaker.

I doubt this section would ever be implemented personally. However if it was and vouches were allowed for in game trades I would be awestruck. It would just ruin the vouch system altogether.


This suggestion in general just lacks any decent argument to why it should be implemented.

Let's put it this way.

If you wanted to purchase 3,000 beer glasses, you could simply go and post a thread in what you deem to be the appropriate forum. Others may, or may not respond. If they do, you can complete the trade, and I doubt a Sythe mod would intervene. If they don't do it on the RS forums, it's a forum dedicated trades of that nature.

I don't think anyone is going to stop you from asking to purchase 3k beer glasses on Sythe or anything equivalent, I'm saying that it doesn't warrant it's own section. As scottay said, this site is primarily a black-market.

I doubt no one will say no you cannot attempt to purchase RS Items for RSGP, but we are saying that this doesn't warrant it's own sub-section.
