Could not access Sythe.

First of all, if I posted this at the wrong section, sorry about that and please help me to move it to the correct place thanks.

Ok, a few weeks ago I have encountered this problem.
I cannot access Sythe on my computer be it Chrome, Opera or Firefox.
They all showed the same error which is page cannot be displayed.

I can however access Sythe using my school's computer. Did Sythe Ip banned my home computer or did I block some ports?

I am currently using a proxy to post this. It'll be good if someone can enlighten me about this thanks.

 

Do you get any message when you try to access the site without a proxy through your house connection?

 

IP's are usually only banned when there's a banned Sythe account associated with it - if you PM me your home IP, I can check.

When you're I.P banned, doesn't Sythe still load, but a screen comes up letting you know you can't access the forum and its features because the I.P is banned? At least that's what happens when I use my phone sometimes.

Try a different browser as well, also, Sythe could have been down just for that time you were trying to access it.

 

Start > Run > type in 'CMD.exe' (without apostrophes) > type in 'ipconfig /flushdns' (once again without the apostrophes)

This usually rectifies any errors on your end. You can also try clearing your cache and whatnot. If you were IP banned, you would be seeing an error message, but the site would still load.

 

Already tried flushing my dns, thanks though.

Oddly, I can access the mobile site with no problems. Router was switched and doesn't work either. Maybe it's my ISP that is causing all these crap. Will try to contact them thanks.

 

Try accessing Sythe through your modem direct, not through your router but through the modem only. If you can get on it fine, then something must be up with the router.

I am currently experiencing exactly the same, i'm also posting by using a proxy website now :/.


Edit: ipconfig /flushdns didnt work as Verts suggested. I submitted my IP in the link Wulfspade1 gave so lets hope that will fix it

 

Solved for me, didn't know what happen, but I can access Sythe now.
