    Special Constable Interview [HELP]

Not really sure whether this is in the right section or not but I need some help. So i have my Special Constable interview on Friday and I have to admit i'm really nervous. I'm going to be asked on four Competencies which are
    • Respect for Diversity
    • Teamworking
    • Personal Responsiblity
    • Effective Communication
    • Community and Customer Focus
I need to give 4 good examples of where I have demonstrated each and every one. However i'm not sure on what to give for Effective Communication and Community and Customer Focus. Do you guys have any examples for me to get an idea of, thanks in advance.. going to need all the luck in the world:D

Communication could be being part of a team/club/group as a football captain or something or other. Perhaps extra duties in school (I know here we have prefects and house captains etc).

Community/customer focus maybe voluntary work or something.

Communication I might suggest something a little above football... F1/Rally Car Pit Stop - it requires a crew chief to call when the driver needs to come in, a driver to accurately navigate and stop in the proper spot, then 4 tires changed, and possibly gas - all within what? <30 seconds?

Or possibly an in-flight refueling (KC-135s) - two planes flying within a couple of hundred yards from each other and holding that position to fill up gas. That takes so much coordination and communication it's insane...

Community focus - It might be a little too soon for some, but you could use Boston as your reference for it. After the bombings occurred, roughly 1000 residents and facilities opened their doors to help out people. If you want to express a sense of community, I think THAT's community. An article on it if you would like to read: http://beaconhill.patch.com/articles/residents-open-hearts-homes-in-boston-and-beyond-31ac0087
