Report a scammer section.

Hello sythe people.
I noticed that in report a scammer section there are Macroman, Cfrey, R2Pleasent, DarkSpark, The Viper000 mods and only one from they is active. I bring in request to change moderators to more active ones or mobilise those to work. I don't meant to offen anybody, but facts are that 1/10 topics are seen. There are many reports which have got good proofs, but nobody pay attetion on them. Do something with it.

yeh a lot of people have mentioned this, i dont think they care....

 

i support, i only see a few mods that actully do something about it when someone breaks a sythe rule.

 

Scammer Section Moderator.

 

Maybe there also could come Approved Scammers Section Helpers?
That are non-moderators, which will help people with their proofs.
They can ask for Ingame pictures, MSN logs, etc.

I also do agree on this suggestion ofcource,
we need more people active at the Scammers section.

 

The moderator are doing a great job in the "Report A Scammer" section! Do you no how many page there is to chek? About 10 page. It takes about 5 min to chek 1 post. I hope you will understand that its hard for them!

 

I Don't know if you actually thought this out but, Sythe staff are humans with lifes also. Most of them Are Still in High School, which is very important. This "Job" if you want to call it that, is their past time. I'm pretty sure Finding out who scammed you is the last thing on their mind. I won't say they don't care but they not going to be in class saying "Damn, Who The Fuck took T.G.I.Fridays Account".

I'm pretty sure when they get a chance they will look over the reports. Please also remember, Sythe Staff is in no way Involved or responsible for what has happened to you.

 

Guys did u ever reported a scammer or u just getting post count?
One of them is checking about 2 scam reports per day its not enough!
Dont tell me they have a life, cuz I have either and every day checking news on sythe. Hard for them? What they did last 6 days? Only one who doing something there is Cfrey. Others do nothing, so in my opinion they should be replaced.
And I'm preety sure that ppl who reporting scammers will agree with me.

 

Don't get scammed and you won't need to report. and I'm sure once you grow up you'll understand that sythe.org is not their first priority but probably one of their lower ones.

 

Use a MM. Boy, that was hard, win-win solution.

You can't avoid to get scammed. unless you use a OMM

 

I have been scammed when I was new and innocent I filed 4 reports and not one of them got banned purely for that, One of them abra88 had 6 reports against them so I messaged an admin and they got banned straight away.

Nothing happens to the reports tbh... I look in the report a spammer section and everythings fine but the report a scammer section should surely be a priority?

I got scammed first time from a guy with over 50 vouches.
Only for saradomin plate but this is not my aim of that theard.

 

I don't think he's trying to offend anybody. He just wants to change the way report a scammer section works so that scammers will be banned more quickly.

 

yup ill say it again i pmed 2 mods about to ask them to change the name of my topic and guess what -no1 answeared. same is for scammer section.

 

im supporting this but. when i report someone it gets banned ryt ahead...

 

I only had one of my scam reports considered my whole time here, and the kid didn't even get banned cuz they couldn't find his username or something.
But yea, if they checked it more often, then they wouldn't have to do as much work when it comes down to it.

 

The mods are as active as they possibly can be, they have other shit to deal with. Do you really want to waste hours of your time sitting there sorting through other peoples problems.

When you get scammed it is YOUR FAULT, why? Because you DID NOT take the neccisairy precautions NOT to get scammed. Had you paid the OMM fee, or not gone first to an untrusted individual you never would have had a problem now would you have?

Point blank, the scammers do get taken care of eventually, and big time scammers get taken out INSTANTLY, so why are you worrying your posts in the report a scammer section, they will get dealt with, the scammer will be banned, and you will not have to worry about being scammed by that person again because you already know they're a scammer and you can feel free to link to your report a scam topic WITH FULL PROOFS on their topic so others can review it and decide for themselves what they trust.

If admins think the mods are not active enough they will eventually appoint new ones. Easy as pie.

 

I do not support, 'Your Fault Your Loss'. Don't want to backseat mod but I don't think your aloud to suggest this.

 

I totally agree...ban every spammer or don't ban everyone...If you are a cop and you have several murders to solve...You can't solve few and other ones put in archive section...
