Ok I was infracted by shredder sometime in the past day or 2 for backseat modding. I was kinda wondering how this exactly is backseat modding?

I was simply telling him\them before a mod happened to see it and infract\warn them for posting in the wrong section So they could delete there post etc.

I don't care if the infraction is gone or not but I am wondering why exactly helping them out isn't aloud? it's not like I am telling them what to do as a mod does I am simply pointing out and giving advice before they get in trouble.
