Does this mean I got scammed?

I just bought an account from Antman, Grand Master with 2.5k posts and 29 vouches and perfect record on them. I went to recover the account with the info he gave me and this is what I got ...

Does this mean I was scammed? When you try to recover and are denied, do they always include all that stuff or does that mean they are telling me what is wrong ... if so then he told me an entire character's worth of false info. Please help fast (good thing I didn't put 10m on it like I was gonna).

You bought info to unlock an account?
Or he recovered his account from you?

 

no hes sayin he bought an account from antman and antman gave him all the info about the account so this kid went to recover it just to see if the info was correct and it didnt work meaning the info antman provided was wrong

 

I'd provide the info to a staff member, and a picture of the conversation in MSN, or whatever IM.

Maybe it was put in wrong, or maybe he didn't give enough.

Though it is possible he scammed you. Report this to a Staff member and see what they have to say about it.

 

Antman's first account ever was banned for scamming he made another one "the one you traded with" so yes it is entirely possible he scammed you, get the pics needed and report him, 1 less scammer on the site.

 

wow wtf ... i ran searches on his name and didn't find anything bad so I figured 2500 posts, 29 vouches, and he scams me for a 107 with 99 wc? Seems like he picked a dumb time to do it with all the other trades he could have made ...

thanks for the help, hopefully it doesn't turn into a locked war on the account and I can keep access to it

 

he might have just did it because he didnt trust you so if you didnt do your end right he could recover it back.
