Does this make me a scammer? Because I dont think so.

there is a guy whose email is [email protected]. He wanted to sell me this account that was "his". He claims that he doesn't even have a sythe account and he wanted 12$ for his account. When he unverified his account to my email, i sensed something was fishy so i told him i didnt want his account. I gave his validation code back and everything and he still wants to report me as a scammer although I gave him all his info back. He didnt give me his username and password so i couldnt change anything even if i was one. I am Not a scammer and he recieved all his info back. Just watch out for him. Will i be banned as a scammer if he reports me?

 

You have nothing to worry about, at least if you're telling the truth. He would need sufficient proof to prove you scammed him, which by the looks of it, is nonexistent, since you did nothing wrong.

So what your saying is that you put your email onto the account, and then backed out of the trade. Considering you haven't actually scammed anything I would say that you are fine, but if you use the email to try and recover the account then it would be classified as scamming and he could report you then. As long as this doesn't happen then you should be fine.

I know this is the wrong section. I didnt scam him. Its obvious. I dont was his account so i gave it back. He kept on saying oh im reporting and im recording this conversation. I didnt even bother recovering his account. I just gave him back the validation code and he was still mad. I think he is wrong in this case.

 

Its only illegal if you get caught, and ur innocent until proven guilty
