Recovering account a friend gave me?

Back in the day around 2005-06ish my friend quit runescape and gave me his account , I set alot of information on it back then. And I used to be able to recover it pretty easy. I noticed jagex setup there recovery system to make it virtually impossible to recover unless you know everything about it now. I forgot the password I set on it because I quit runescape around the time dungeoneering came out. Is it possible to get it back with just the information i set on it since I have information on it that is very old?

Send an email to them, and if you do have the old information, that may be enough to get it back. I have actually done it once myself and was able to recover an old account of mine.

 

i got it back , did that account help thing and a actual jmod contacted me via email and accepted my information. i guess its better to use the account help email then there automated one on the website. thanks guys.
