No they do not unless you're doing something like Inferno on different IP's.

BUT

I'd recommend you just stay using the original IP you used to create the account then if the account is ever hacked or something in the future you can easily take it back.

 

They may watch you etc just something to think of is some one else could of already botted or been banned on that ip

 

Yes they absolutely can, even if you aren't botting and you're somehow linked to a massive gold farming IP

There have been cases of legitamate players being banned for using the same IP address / being linked to the same IP as mass gold farmers

 

if your using a vps to play you should be fine

I’ve never had any issues and been using one for 4 years plus, I think unless it looks suspect there will be no problem.

 

I don't know about being banned but I had my account locked once for using a VPN, which got unlocked later but it was a nuisance.

 

Depends if the VPN was used by someone else who broke their rules. If so, you may get banned as a result.

 

No, at least not PIA which is what i use although they might look at you a little more carefully

 

If it's a dedicated VPN no. But if it's a free one you will get banned within 1-2 hours, not even that.

 

I’ve never had a legitimately played account banned on a vpn/proxy while using a bot client.

That being said occasionally Jagex locks my legitimate accounts, it’s quicker if you’re actually botting imo.

 

I've been on a VPN and played osrs quite a few times, however nothings happened to me. I personally wouldn't suggest it, stay on the IP you used to create the account just to be on the safe side. you don't want multiple IP's being linked to your account.
