Will bot nuke take out Simba?

I've had massively mixed opinions about this. Some people as Simba will be unnafected since its a color bot. Others say they will be going after color bots directly. Really does anyone know? I highly doubt they could wipe out bots with so many different bots and do many people willing to just update them. Seems like jagex doesn't really give a crap anyways, theyre mire worried about more reasons for people to buy SoF spins anyways now that they're a greedy. Corporation.

No... Because this is what happened 2 minutes after the first botnuke.

There was significant graphic change all the details has been increased, and this script isn't even hard coded to prevent this and was fully functional with ocassion mockup.

 

Truth is, no body knows what Optimus/Bot Nuke will do or take out.
We can all only guess and speculate.
It was said AS A FACT though that Optimus is NOT aimed at 'screen scrapers' and ONLY at Java/Injection/Reflection bots.
LATER they will deal with the color bots.

So I can say/guess with quite a bit of certainty that optimus will not effect Simba (because it's not meant to ).

And as many people say... as long as humans can play RS, Simba can bot it.

 

Yeah well I plan on using Simba anyways so I should be done, I'll keep my borders under 30 bots until after the bot nuke.

short answer: yes short term.

long answer: they will be doing all the things that the first poster I quoted said like they did before. but now with all of that + the new combat system, the way we do EVERYTHING will be changed to the point where nearly every script will have to be re-written and the color bots themselves I imagine will have to be re-color coded due to the new "Abilities" of weapons and what ever else jagex has in store. remember they are even changing the way we walk now. this isn't going to be a point and click game its going to be just like world of warcraft [ movement wise] when they do these updates. so even the most basic of bots will still need to be updated.

 

it will only be a "little" bit different, also since last bot nuke, they were changing fonts every couple days. Which leads to us using methods that completely avoids it

Jagex's goal atm is probably injection only, am not jagex but its the only sensible thing they could do. To stop color would piss off their legit player more than bot maker.

 

All jagex can do is make small visual adjustments in-game often to mess with simba but to be honest they can never completely take out Simba and other colour bots as long as Runescape is played in colour (even black and white) then it will be possible to bot using colour.

 

Yes, because RuneScape will be black and white.

 

I doubt Simba will be gone after the nuke.

 

I very much doubt that Simba will go down initially. Maybe eventually.
