Does anything get done around here??

Not to punch the staff team in the balls.. But do any of you do anything?? I mean you know.. Actually develop shit for the site? I don't come here often because this place isn't that appealing. Suggestions stack up like a pile of trash without any fucking consideration, EVEN THE EASY ONES.. This place has potential.. But as it stands I don't see any progression with the ways things are going.

PLEASE DONT INSTALOCK THIS THREAD LIKE YOU DO TO OTHERS WITHOUT GIVING A REASONABLE ANSWER. Thank you.

 

Well Sythe isn't everyone's first priority, people have bigger shit to deal with.

Yes, mods sit on their ass, but they'll get it done sooner or later.

Fuck.. There are 4 pages of suggestions not approved or denied that go back to more than a year ago.. It looks like staff does sit on their bum all day.

 

Suggestions aren't for moderators to handle. Instead of that, we do things to make sure you don't see crap around the forums (hence how you see very little spam). Along with that, none of this is our first priority. If you have constructive feedback for someone, leave it on their thread.

 

well, alot of the "easy" work that needs to be done requires upper admin attention (and alot of us can't give u an explanation for that) and alot of that easy work actually isn't as easy as it sounds

 

Considering mods jobs are to moderate, as that is what mod is short for. Moderate means "to preside over or at (a public forum, meeting, discussion, etc.)"

But onto what you're actually driving at, you have to remember, mods have lives bud. They have educational commitments, or potentially an occupation to pay the bills to support themselves. This is a hobby, and possibly a passion for some. They do what they can, but again, real life takes precedence.

 

As volunteers the amount we get through is quite a bit - especially for a forum of this size.

Suggestion implementation comes in waves it seems - dependant on the site owner and tech admins availability around their IRL schedules. It'll be dry for a while and then there'll be a batch of updates in short succession of each other.
