I might host a Sythe Minecraft tournament!

Hello guys, static here, so there's been this thread about a minecraft sythe tournament, I've been thinking, I'd be willing to host it on MY server, but it all depends on what feedback I get on this thread so it's up to you guys to make it happen, if I get enough positive feedback i'd be willing to host it. Also i'd need some help with actually building the arena and stuff but I think I could have it done in a few weeks, there wouldn't be any cash prize unfortunately, unless one of you guys are willing to sponsor the server So like I said before, it depends on the feedback I get on this thread. The kind of tournament could be anything really, if this goes ahead i'll decide, (some types of gameplay are CTF, Spleef, PvP, Search and Destroy, Survival games, Hunger Games, Sky wars etc.

Tournament in what sense? I didn't realise Minecraft was competitive.

 

What kind of tourney would it be? More info would be useful.

 

Well it can be, Survival games, spleef, Search and Destroy, Ctf, PvP etc. I could go on for ages.

I used to play on a server where we did events all the time. Out of curiosity, what sort of prizes did you have in mind for this (if at all)? And what sort of server do you run? Does it have enough space to support 40+ people?

One of the few problems that occurred with a minecraft server is you would get that one mad little 10 year old who would find someone to DDOS the server.

 

Not a bad idea maby a PvP tournament, I own a 24/7 PvP faction server and I'm sure me and you could build a arena there for it if you wish

 

Like I said in the OP, I really don't have a prize in mind, unless someone else can provide a prize, also, it probably can't support 40+ people, but I don't think the sythe minecraft community is that big anyways.
