Came across this on youtube, I'm almost 99% its fake, but all the good replies made me wonder. As i have absolutely no java knowledge, I was just wondering if this was remotely possible?

 

k i downloaded and scaned its clean and i made a fake account and entered it and it says it will be updated with next server update so i'll get back to u if it works

 

i dont know this might work it seems too good to be ture tho =(

 

You can't change your stats get over it this is fake they all are.

 

No, it seems incredibly suspicious, seeing as all the positive comments were all made 2 months ago at the same time.

Well he said when you start it your stats are reset when you login. So do it, log in with a like level 19 stat or something. And if it goes back to 1 it just MIGHT work. Give it some time for like the next big update, like the new quest or something. It could work.

ALTHOUGH; He could've atrmoney'd all of his stats to 1 and "X"'d artmoney out and kept running the video. I think it's suspicious too, not just because he only shows the bottom of screen or whatnot, but because he moved the mouse over a stat and it had 14.7M exp or something, a 99stat is 13.04M exp.

well they said it changed back to old stats when you log out.. but i bet its just client side and made somhow with artmoney to change stats.. ;/

Did you not take a second to stop and think about what you were installing??

You're installing a program that's asking for your runescape username and password, a virus program isn't going to clal that a virus because all it's doing is sending through some information which you enetered of your own free will. So you've just sent your username and password to someone who'll screw you right over.


Secondly, STATS EDITORS DO NOT EXIST! Unless your second name is Gower, you're not going to be able to change your stats, you'd have to be pretty fucking elite to crack the jagex servers (and this game's been going on for years, I'm sure they have some tight security). Even if you did hack their servers, don't you think they'd run some kind of check for... I don't know.. maybe the fact that your strength has shot up from 25-94 and you've only killed a few imps on that account?!

i wouldnt try it if i was you. lol because the first comment on the vid was 2 months ago and the last login was 2 months ago.. so yeah and he could make his friends comment on the vid too

Its a phisher. I have it on my computer (if anyone enters their pass on it, it gets uploaded to my websites log file)
