are level 1 defense and 99 str stakers still good?

Im starting to get back into runescape. It has been a while as you can see by my join date to sythe. I've looked around the web for up to date guides but have failed.

All I want to know is, for staking, would 60 - 75 attack. 99 strength. 1 defense still do good as a dds / whip staker? Or have times changed.

If those stats are not good anymore, what would be the way to improve those stats to make it a good staker?

No stakers, should have 99 atk 99 def 99 str.

 

That didn't answer anything I asked.

 

Dds stakers should be 99 hp , 99 str and 60 def whip stakers should be 70 atk , 99 str and 40 def. Tell me if know that answers it.

 

Why not just get max melee and only fight other max melee'd people. Thats what im doing.

 

Because if I wanted max melee, I would have done it and not have made this thread.

 

In F2P, I own everyone and I'm 64 Attack, 99 Str, 89 HP, 44 Prayer Combat 78.

Scim Boxing or Melee boxing, either one.

Not members on that account so I can't say much about P2P.

 

Are you 1 def? That's good to hear. I had no idea you could stake f2p. Shows how long ago I used to play lol.

 

i think it might work for dds duels but not boxing

Yeah, BUTTTTTTTTTTT you can only stake 40K per duel max rofl.

 

I do not an on boxing. Just no armor duels with dds specs then switch to whip.

 

That's ok. As long as I hear you own with 1 defense, that's good to hear and good news for me. Reminds me of the old days with defieled.
