Advertisement? (Puzzled Face)

I have seen this ad here on Sythe several times, and just now thought to post it here.



Offering Free Auths to 100+ post members? I know that this site is not affiliated with Sythe.org, but since it is against the rules of this site to trade/sell/give away auth codes, I was wondering why an advertisement offering such is allowed?

It's ironic that that you would quote that specific post, as that actually was the thread that I was reading when I saw that advertisement.

 

Very nice catch. If it is illegal to buy, sell, or advertise auth codes, why must we allow sponsors to do it themselves. Hopefully, a staff member will check on this and immediately make changes.

 

It's not illegal to trade them, it's simply against the rules. It was unintentional, Spyike is better than that. It'll be cleared up and life will go on.

 

Spyike said it himself- this particular ad wasn't just meant for Sythe, it was meant for all Runecape related forums.
