I hope Jagex won't attack against Sythe

What comes to botting it's a shame you make more money on 07 by PVMing than skilling, don't know what clients botters are using or where they get them (I guess most people weren't using Powerbot or RSbot anymore) but hopefully this will slow it down and make skilling resources go up in price

Very unlikely.. Rsbot and powebot where all about runescape, Sythe on other hand is open hand market and all they would have to do is edit certain titles on topics if it ever became issue and go by keywords for ''runescape''. I doubt this is gonna have any significant impact on the economy of the game, Rs gp prices are still trash and those sites where ancient and outdated. If they really wanted to stop botting and RWT they would have a long time ago.. The game depends on RWT or else it would be Dead asf.

 

Yes, it is true these sites are very old and surely their location was easy to track or put under the laws

 

Hopefully this site will last, I know the owner of MPGH and there was a lawsuit against him from a company because of refunding services.

 

I heard that Powerbot and RSBOT weren't the best bots in the market to begin with. Even to the extent powerbot began to be synonomous with Powerban.

 

Sythe should always be able to be around because its a unique name and doesn't really utilize the RuneScape trademark. I know that some sites like MPGH had to remove things like refunding due to potential issues with law enforcement. Everything on Sythe is legally allowed though.

 

It depends, if Jagex really wanted to put the effort they could give Sythe problems but they are focusing on big websites like Boglagold which is now closed and other websites that are big in the market.

 

I don't think that there is much grounds they could take legal action on. There's also the options of hosting in different offshore jurisdictions.

 

Sythe won't be touched, like Abe said the focus is definitely on bigger things.

 

I believe sythe won't be affected, but even if it does which i hope it dosent someone will always have a plan b or someone will make another fourm.

 

The Big Gold Sellers are jagex anyway!

 

They will just appear again with new names
