You're misunderstanding my point - if a scientist has an idea, but has no supporting evidence, it's a hypothesis. That doesn't mean that science supports your point until there's evidence.

I believe in god because of the research ive done and what my parents taught me. I dont have a problem with people who dont tho.

You should never go off what you was ''taught'' for years all religions have brainwashed people. The best way to find out what you seek is to research every aspect of religion and past yourself. If you find anything its most likely going to be UFO/Alien content more than religion

 

It does appall me that a person would lend credit to UFOs or aliens for whatever they sought to be out of the ordinary but by the same token chalk up all religions as simply tools used for brainwashing and/or control. I would respectfully counter by arguing that fictional movies have been used to brainwash people (in a subtle way) to believe that UFOs or aliens exist.

As for me, I do believe in God, honestly. So I do not deny that a spiritual or supernatural realm does exist. If anyone is genuinely curious as to why, I don't mind answering. I'm just not up for endless debating and exchanging "gotcha" questions. Quite frankly I don't have the time since I work around the clock but yea there you have it.

 

My belief's never came from films or any sort of film. It all came from general research of my own which connects alot to the ''religion side'' of things. But anyhow i have seen one or two things that or different to what you'd see up in the stars. I can't confirm they were ufo's what i have seen but i can confirm it wasn't normal at all in any way. But i did spend months looking into everything which is were i came to believe. Films never brainwashed me otherwise i'd be saying '' i believe in zombies'' etc

Your own statement could be turned back on you - why do you so readily dismiss UFOs, but accept a God?
