Do you hate emo's ? Do you think their pathetic?

I'm an emo, and in no way ashamed. I get bullied by alot of people because of my trend. Emo's just wear black, listen to rock and maybe take their pain out by slitting. Atleast they don't go around stabbing or shooting little kids like most "chavs" just to take out their pain and anger.

Hmm just pointing out that you said "emo" is a genre yet "emo's" listen to rock. They do not listen to rock, to me you just sound like a poser.

But for the record, i love emo music and i love the fashion.

 

if suicide is illegal, then cutting yourself should be too (unless it already is, i forget)

Well people have differant views tbh. But apparently "emo" is a genre, As with "Screamo" is linked to it. Hardly no bands are one genre. but to make it easier i sepearte emo form any other genre as most people hate it.

 

5w33t p00p3r how do you think theoropists make so much money? Every person has his or her problems. Some prefer to keep them to themselves. As with emo's. Thats why suicidal is so high. No one has the chance to explain their shit.

I'm not complaing about prejudgement or neither stereotyping, all im asking is how many of you hate emo's or just get on with life.? Whether or not your emo, no one gives a shit about problems. But they do, when it comes to them.

 

Still don't get why you think emo's listen to rock. Emo music is mainly punk and screamo.

It's to expenisive, and normal people don't have problems. they deal with it quickly, and move on. Life has consequences and risks whether or not you are emo, black, fat. whatever you are. your human, get on with it. I know i posted this thread but i try to get into peooples minds and tell them to go screw themselves as being prejudice is bad.

Well.. i don't Lmao. Theres thousands of emo's im not right minded to be leader.
All im sayin is don;t be harsh and take the piss of emo's. They have style, ambitions most of all humanity just like everyone should. Sometimes bein bullied helps realise that no ones perfect.

 

Personally i'm hybrid. I will dress "emo" if i'm going to a concert etc, or if i'm hanging out with emo people then i'll dress emo. But generally i dress normal coz i cbf'ed straightening my hair etc every day. Oh but i ONLY listen to emo music coz its the only type i like since i think its the most meaningful to me.

If someone insults me when i'm dressing emo it gives me an excuse to knock them out so it doesn't bother me.

 

Hmm, there mostly all cool. I hate the ones who are so self-centered though. I guess I'm somewhat like Tyson, I wear girl pants, tight bloody band shirts, and straighten my hair. I really don't see a problem with it, I don't even cut myself so eh.

First of all, the term EMO is totally over used.



emo meaning emotional is commonly mistaken for scene kids.


scene kids are kids who will act sad, upset, angry, or suicidal for attention, EMO kids, are kids who are emotional, witch technically is every kid in the world, because every kid on the planet gets angry sad stressed depressed
and much more.

but back to the topic, i dislike most scene kids, they get annoying in public, mostly at the mall.

 

No one else is bothered by how I type, maybe you're just too illiterate to read it. I just type what comes to mind, i don't re-read anything i write then fix it up so my sentences don't always flow together or anything, big deal right? Its the internet, gosh.

Gothic, Emo and Scene are all different and often confused with each other. "Emo" comes from "Emotional MUSIC" and the fashion then derived from what band members wore who sung such music. Scene is more about the hair and the make up than the clothes.

 

I have no problem with emos, but your forgetfulness to add this option has led me not to vote.

Nonetheless, I got absorbed by this particular social group at one point in my life. I started to act a little like an emo would, however I soon grew out of that and realized that I didn't need to be putting myself under more stress.

 

Theres nothing wrong with emos. Some people may just not be able to handle thier emotions well like others. But if you start cutting your wrist thats going to far. The music sucks though. Lol

Why hate emo's tbh it's only putting them under more pain, and makes them do what they do!

 

I respect them. It's their choice. I Do however, don't like what they're doing, for example cutting themselves. But whatever, that's their choice, not mine.

They're pretty cool. To be honest though, I've never really seen an emo, just scene, which are people who dress emo but don't cut themselves and stuff like that. The only reason I don't really like them is because they kind of look girly, with the make up and tight pants, but other than that I don't really have a problem with them.
