Mauricio Macri

I'm pleased to announce that, Mauricio Macri is the new president of Argentina.

 

He also going to run your country's economy into the ground as well and default on all foreign debt?

 

Hopefuly he solves all the issues left by the ex president, Cristina Kirchner.

 

How is this pleasing news for you?

 

Wasn't she involved in some political murder?

 

the tl;dr of what happened:
From what I learned in highschool spanish class (lol), there was a bombing in Argentina back in 95 (?) that the government basically tried to cover up and spread misinformation about. (think 9/11, if the conspiracy theories actually had validity).

The head investigator of the bombing (can't remember his name) declared a few years back that it was from Iran, and then in January this year he was mysteriously found dead. The Argentine government initially said it was a suicide, then backtracked and said it was a murder from an unknown source - a lot of people think that it's the government that killed him. All in all, a very sketchy situation.

However from what I've heard about the new Argentine president, he doesn't look to be that much better.
