there seriiously has to b a secret to getting a job

i filled out tons of applications and get turned down by every single one(19 yrs old)

i reallly cba working at some shitty supermarket and my parents are fed up with me not having a job sythe only provides me with spending money but i need to save for car/home.

every other job requires experience

(im in college atm, doesnt seem to help much)

so cmon guys tell me!

No really most, first Jobs are hook ups, either from family or friends who got you in the Job. Then once you get experience which is vital then you can go apply for some Jobs you really want to do.

Well your 19, what do you expect? Try to volunteer in companies that deal with your field of study. It's a good reference for applying to jobs. Since you lack experience, you should try to volunteer more often. Other than that, most jobs you qualify for are menial jobs. Sucks, but it's better than nothing.

TBH, your parents are pretty harsh if they are 'fed up' at you when your only 19 and probably attending 2nd year of college. My parents are helping me until my second year when I get to my work term. Than I'm paying for my tutition myself.

 

Don't be so picky. You're not going to find a dream job at your age and with minimal experience. Supermarkets aren't a bad place to start, at least it's better than flipping burgers.

And there is no secret to getting a job. To get a job, you are basically selling yourself. If you do a good enough job of selling yourself, then the employer will hire you. If you dont, then you wont. Make sure that you convince yourself that you will get the job before you apply. Alot of getting a job is mental.

Try to find a job where someone in your family, a friend, or a friend of a parent works. Great recommendations always help.

 

get some community service hours i couldnt get a job for about a year then got about 100 community service hours and now already got a job for the whole summer
