Looters.

Did anyone else do this, It was honestly probably one of the greatest ways to make money on rs at the time, other then pking. That is if you know where to be Best thing i've gotten from one drop looting was about 2-3 months before 08, I was at MB and some maxed brids were there so i figured oh sweet, free loots so I watched a few fights then one kid got tbed with 2 kills on him(ah-karil-whips ect) So I knew I was about to get something he almost tanked the tb but when he got back to the lever he was dds speced like a 38 31(or so) and the kid that got the loot died so he didn't make it back in time so I made about 30m (dfs, 2 whips, 2 beserker rings, 2 ah tops, 1 ah bottom, 2 karils tops, 2 master wands, 1 mage book, and some barrages)


Tl;dr, Lootings legit.

 

I used to Loot rune Arrows on my new accounts to make 1 - 2m Starting cash

Its good fun to watch fights aswell =]

 

Ya lootings pretty cool but why did you make a new account for it? Why not just use your normal one

 

Loved doing this. Even if you don't get anything major you still get 15-30k in sharks and pots each death at edge

 

Hahaha, didn't even think to do this, tbh I can't wait. will prolly make one of these myself, so since your lvl 3 you can only be hit by what lvls 55 and below?

And a question, they mentioned that the new "GROTTO" will have the minigames in it but a **teleport** to FOG, does this mean that FOG will remain in wilde and a safe teleport will be offered for those not interested in fighting off pkers? I hope so because the fog entrance is a fun place to pk and with the added (no exiting wilderness while in combat), it should be a grand place to autocast barrage a few peeps, especially with a SOL, max mage bonus and of course some friends with the same setup, lol.

You can get attacked.

Nobody can attack lvl 3's except for other lvl 3's, 4's or 5's, and even then none of them are really dangerous enough to present a realistic threat.

 

yea, like even at mage bank only level 50's or so can hit a lvl 3 and tbh if a level 50 is there I believe they have much bigger, lvl 90-100 problems to deal with instead of trying to kill a defensless lvl 3.

Lol, looters. There are so many better ways to make GP.

 

Sure, now there are. But back then, it was great money and just fun in general.

 

There were back then, too I guess I was part of the general PKing population that despised looters.

 

I pked too, a lot more then looting. Just saying it was a good way to make money for doing nothing

 

If I recall correctly the best item I looted was black skirt (t) I was pretty excited as I was a noob back then on a started pure lol.

 

Haha yep xD Was fun when someone died an everybody would run on that spot.

 

A lot of people used to do this back in the day, I did it as well, maybe I'll make a new one, it was always fun

 

I used to do it on a level 3 in clan fights.
When returning was turned off, I'd log onto my level 3 and start looting.
Our clan looked down upon people looting items (Food was okay) in the middle of fights so it was free loot for me.

 

depends we have to see if looting is even possible, if so i got my lvl 3 ready 2 xD

 

This was so fun, i almost never got anything good.

 

They mentioned that looting will be back on Saturday. (someone asked a question if looting is possible, they said yes).

I remember being on a level 3 looter and dropping iron 2h or something similar as a trick. I also remember building fires and people spamming over hp bars to make pkers die I will def be doing it for fun, not for the money.
