[denied] DNT Hover-Over text should read "Do Not Trade, Click here for Details"

Many other users have asked me why i got DNT'd indicating the current "Click here" on the image is not sufficient. My suggestion to improve this is to simply update the hover-over to also include the "Click here for details" comment.

many people don't know what the rank actually revolves around, all they know is "not to trade", like when I was banned people pmed me going LOL YOU SCAMMED BRO GG like no? I haven't scammed lol, my ban was completely different to that source of information

If people knew to click it for X-thread then that would be easier, but in some cases it can also be due to more than a single thread as found here - Multiple DNT Reasons Log

 

to me, "Do Not Trade - Click for Details" to a new user would indicate clicking it would just tell you what a "do not trade" infraction is, not "Click for details why the user has this role". IMO the role could be made clearer as to why the user has been assigned it.

hover over text with the description from the mod who applied the role may be OK, until you get some 30 paragraph bs pop up - perhas changing "Click for Details" to "Click To See Why" may be a little clearer.

 

Do Not Trade should be reserved for scammers who have not repaid their debts or people who regularly find themselves in sketchy situations. I would think its fair to assume this is what new users believe when they see the rank. Do Not Trade = Scammer. Especially when Trade With Caution ranks exist. Only seasoned users of Sythe know that Do Not Trade actually means they may still be safe to trade and you should go check out the reason why to figure it out. If anything this probably leads to more damages during scam quits because the full value of the rank has been lost. Maybe a 3rd rank of "Temporarily Suspended" would be a better option. Sythe wants to punish the user and not let them benefit from their site but they have paid all their debts if they have any and have more or less fixed the issue.

That being said, its much easier to proposition a more detailed hover-over text to encourage users to go read the DNT reason.

 

When I first saw you got a DNT, I were like no way you'd scam or be dishonest in any way.
After seeing the reason, the DNT does not make any sense whatsoever in my opinion.

I honestly thought that would more then likely warrant a TWC, that i'd say would more than likely be putting it to stretch with reasoning why you even got it in the first place.

Someone like my self, would without hesitation trade with you, but alot of users would easily get confused and think it were due to you scamming someone, that you were granting that rank.

Just cus you repaid your debts doesnt mean you dont deserve DNT rank you litterary sold accs you were not OO of claiming you were and im pre sure reason for your DNT was cus who the f knows how many more accounts is out there sold that you wont be able to unlock/recover if somthing happens considering they are not even your accounts.

 

I was still the only person applying the membership codes. The way I saw it, i was making the accounts on the proxy and then passing both the proxy and the account to my worker. They already have creation info so there wasnt a difference in my mind if I just had them do the tutorial on the proxy for me as well. If I kept the membership codes secret that was safe enough right? I have been told this is still unacceptable and I have expressed that I would be happy to change my ToS to better explain this if it meant my DNT was changed to a TWC or just plain removed. My actions were not malicious and I have not had any recovery reports, just lock reports where i cant unlock the account. I only did this with trusted workers, new ones being vetted I still did tut etc in case they tried to scam me or something cuz i cant change the password if I want to sell them without emails attached.

I get what ur saying, but again, my actions werent malicious and I not only expressed that I was willing to change but could demonstrate it with actions I took before my DNT rank was given to me. I was told I was incorrect, I was unhappy but I didn't fight it, it cost me a $250 refund, and that alone was enough to see all the changes needed performed. The DNT is just to drive home the point so I hope 3 months from now my pardon goes differently. The feedback ive been given indicates that will be the case but nothings ever certain so. =/

 

I appreciate your passion, but I will be denying and closing this suggestion.
Putting click here in the hover over would indicate you are supposed to click on the hover over which would be in a different location than the button, which already says click for details.

This would be redundant.
