Explanation of the trade:
Posting this on behalf of a friend who isn't familiar with Sythe, I was in voice chat with him and witnessed the entire thing. TheKahani is the opponent in question. Hallowtide is an Admin in DMWatch, a noted deathmatching clan where Oda and others gamble. Ye is one of their "Human Resources" staff (whatever that means, he was incredibly dismissive the entire time).

How they scammed:
Video: Sorry had to remove as it contained my friend's RSN. Posting in deleted post below this, happy to provide via DMs to any Sythe mod.

Basically, TheKahani (RSN: Breaking Bod) agreed to a 1b deathmatch in Lumbridge. Both potted up, then Breaking Bod ran out and turned protect from magic on. As my friend ran out to fight, the opponent suddenly switched to protect from melee. He supposedly did this because of "rushers," yet there are no rushers to be seen in the video. My friend, understandably, thought that this was a DQ and proceeded to run back into the safe zone to protect himself. The opponent CONTINUED to hit after, hoping he could get a lucky hit and finish my friend who had the 1b in his inventory. Please view the ToS below that proves that the opponent disqualified himself first.

At this point, it's less about the gp and more about the principle. They deleted the ticket transcript in Discord. When my friend presses "view online transcript" nothing pops up. Could be a glitch, but suspect either way. If they can provide the transcript, their admins clearly agreed that it was a DQ, then suddenly reversed their decision when Ye chimes in? Either it was a rank's/staff's alt that they were covering for (I know, unlikely, but there are numerous known scammers in the cc) or there was some other nebulous reason as to why they suddenly changed their minds, despite the hard evidence presented. They kept trying to force him to accept a "continuation" where he would have to start the fight down hp, because he was hit while running out (due to the opponent praying protect from melee). Then when he refused this unfair "solution," he was labeled a scammer. He was willing to continue another fair, fresh fight, but the admins did not allow that. He has now been muted for a week and is unable to defend himself.

While this is NOT at all my friend's opinion, I personally believe that a previous report that my friend filed earlier in the night factored into their decision, where a similar situation happened and it took overwhelming evidence and repeated asks for them to finally ban a different scammer. My friend was, understandably, upset and they seemed to take it very personally. I think that this swayed their decision, as they seemed to change their mind on a whim and only after Hallowtide, who was involved in the previous report ticket, came in and mentioned it.

Hallowtide just informed me that they do not deal with Sythe, as they "do not want to deal with scammers." Not sure how a platform meant for RESOLVING these kinds of situations can be labeled as a scam, but sure!
