Duel Arena Staking - Question

This is for those no armour special attack matches.

Has anyone ever tried the vesta spear? It stops all melee attacks for 5 seconds 50% bar, and I think you can switch weapons!

 

Vesta spear is 2h tho, so if the offhand is disabled you won't be able to use it.

 

Ahh, true but I would still like to know if it still works, would be lulz disabling them for 5 seconds claw speccing then chaotic mauling them.

 

Runescapes 5seconds are probably around 2.5 seconds.

Im sure you know ice-barrage says it freezes for 30seconds, but its half that.

and no-one will be staking with shield on... divine prods etc.

 

You can claw them but they can also get a shield. This is possible still!

 

this is actually not a bad idea at all, and to the person who said ice barrage lasts 30 seconds, it's 20. the ice spells go 5-10-15-20 seconds. in that order. starting with ice rush to barrage

 

Yeah, this could work, but people would be aware of this quite soon.

 

No armour means no armour. Spears are 2handed and thus wouldn't be used in those types of stakes.

 

isnt that spec the same as a dspear or zammy spear spec, and ive tried those specs, they are only useful for p2p multi, not staking/pking.

 

Didn't think the vestas trick worked on pvp, especially not for 5 seconds.
